Role Summary

The Onboarding Analyst will be mainly focused on guaranteeing, from a 2nd line of defence perspective, that the mandatory KYC processes are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Performing and analysing background checks, adverse media screening for identification of reputational risks for the firm;
  • Performing review of KYC forms prepared by the Operations team during client on boarding process and periodic reviews according to high standards established by Marex Solutions;
  • Performing clients risk assessments based on Marex Solutions KYC requirements, applicable policies, market best practices, and KYC laws, regulation and requirements;
  • Registration of customer data in internal systems.
  • Providing advice on KYC requirements and ad-hoc requests and queries from Relationship Managers and Account Managers;
  • Work closely and partner with finance, risk, audit, quality control and compliance departments
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
  • At all times complying with the FCA’s Code of Conduct and Marex’s Code of Conduct
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
  • To escalate risk events immediately

Skills and Experience

  • Adept across the MS Office suite (the ability to write macros/VBA and Python is highly desirable)
  • Keen to work in a rapidly evolving and growing organisation and make your mark, highly committed
