The Speakers

Dr Georgi Slavov is the Head of Fundamental Research at Marex. Georgi and his team are responsible for the research & analysis of all key global energy, basic materials & industrial transportation markets. He is a member of the Business Advisory Committee at Henley Business School ICMA Graduate Center.

Dr Carlo Cafaro is Marex’s senior meteorologist & Lead Power Sector Analyst. He joined the Group having previously worked as a research scientist focused on extracting and verifying weather information from ensemble prediction systems in the mid-latitudes and Tropical Africa for University of Reading. Carlo holds PhD in Mathematics of Planet Earth from University of Reading.
