Marex has appointed Graham Francis as Group Chief Operating Officer. This position expands the senior leadership team, adding new capabilities and responsibilities to oversee day-to-day operations at Marex.
Reporting into Ian Lowitt, CEO of Marex, Graham will work with the management team to manage all operational, technological and legal activities for Marex globally, helping the business grow in a sustainable, strategic and well-controlled way.
Graham joins from TP ICAP, where he was most recently COO for Global Broking, executing on the global strategy for the division and driving the business’ technology programme. Graham spent 15 years at TP ICAP, including eight years as executive managing director for ICAP’s Energy and Commodities business in EMEA. Prior to his tenure at TP ICAP, Graham worked as a finance structurer at Dresdner Bank and Lehman Brothers, having started his career at Linklaters. He graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Law.
